The population explosion and the industrial revolution have put enourmous strain on our natural world resulting in dead soil, desertification, deforestation, dead zones in our oceans, poisoned rivers, toxic air and extreme weather events. We must take urgent steps to stop the planet and oceans warming. A little hotter and it’ll be too late to reverse our destruction and only a few pockets of the planet will be inhabitable by humans. If we are to move forward in the fight to save the planet, we have to stop pointing fingers at each other, blaming everyone but ourselves. Individual steps add up, let’s find a way to collectively take action.
The most important thing we can do is rethink how we consume and realise we can choose to
At BOOM we are committed to raise awarness about sustainability as the broad view of respect for people and places,
showing that decisions have environmental, social, economic, cutural and political implications.
We listen, we speak, we convene, we learn and we engage at local level toward a wider field of action.
